Are you a seasoned professional with deep experience supporting the U.S. healthcare system? MyOutDesk (MOD) is looking for a Bilingual Healthcare Operations Specialist to join our elite team in San Isidro, Lima.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for "Project Finishers" who already know how to navigate insurance portals, manage medical agendas, and document clinical interactions with extreme precision. You will work directly with innovative U.S. healthcare startups and established medical practices, serving as a vital bridge in patient care coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Care Coordination & Outreach: Execute outbound call campaigns to clinics and providers to gather essential healthcare data.
  • Insurance & Authorization Management: Navigate U.S. insurance portals to verify eligibility, process prior authorizations, and resolve claims.
  • Clinical Documentation: Accurately enter and manage patient information within EMR/EHR systems (such as Athena or Elation) and CRMs.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a professional point of contact for patients, providers, and insurance carriers, ensuring all communications are HIPAA-compliant.
  • Operational Excellence: Monitor task queues, meet high-volume quality benchmarks, and proactively suggest process improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2.5+ years of verifiable experience in a BPO or virtual assistant role supporting U.S. healthcare clients.
  • Language: English (C1 level) with professional fluency, both written and spoken.
  • Technical Proficiency: Direct experience using at least one U.S. insurance portal, EMR, or healthcare CRM.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Technical degree (not necessarily in a health field).
  • Stability: A stable work history with no more than 3 employers in the last 3 years.
  • Ownership: Ability to work with minimal supervision and take full ownership of complex administrative workflows.
  • Availability: Must be able to work on-site at our San Isidro hub during U.S. business hours (EST/PST).
