PE - Medical Support Coordinator | U.S. Healthcare

This role is for someone who already knows how the U.S. healthcare system works — and is ready to do that work at a higher level, with a long-term client who values your expertise.

We're not looking for someone to train from scratch. We need a professional who can navigate insurance portals, manage prior authorizations, and document clinical interactions with precision — from day one. You'll work directly with U.S. healthcare providers and medical practices, becoming a trusted part of how their operations run.

If your background includes insurance verification, prior authorizations, eligibility checks, or claims coordination — this role was built for you.

Responsibilities

  • Verify insurance eligibility and process prior authorizations through U.S. insurance portals
  • Coordinate outreach to clinics and providers to gather essential healthcare data
  • Accurately enter and manage patient information in EMR/EHR systems (Athena, Elation, or similar) and CRMs
  • Act as a HIPAA-compliant point of contact for patients, providers, and insurance carriers
  • Monitor task queues, meet quality benchmarks, and proactively flag process gaps

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2.5+ years of verifiable experience in a BPO or virtual assistant role supporting U.S. healthcare clients.
  • Language: English (C1 level) with professional fluency, both written and spoken.
  • Technical Proficiency: Direct experience using at least one U.S. insurance portal, EMR, or healthcare CRM.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Technical degree (not necessarily in a health field).
  • Stability: A stable work history with no more than 3 employers in the last 3 years.
  • Ownership: Ability to work with minimal supervision and take full ownership of complex administrative workflows.
  • Availability: Must be able to work on-site at our San Isidro hub during U.S. business hours (EST/PST).
