Job Description
Design and deliver scalable cloud architectures on AWS, ensuring secure, resilient systems using microservices and APIs while guiding hands-on implementation. Key Performance Indicators: • Architect AWS solutions for production systems • Implement microservices and API platforms • Improve reliability, security, and performance • Lead cloud infrastructure and cost optimization • Collaborate with teams to deliver roadmap outcomes Qualifications: • 7+ years cloud architecture/engineering experience • Hands-on AWS experience designing and operating systems • Experience with microservices and REST/GraphQL APIs • Strong knowledge of networking, security, and IAM • Proven experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code Additional Information: We offer 4 weeks of vacation as s start, added week of vacation every 5 year tenure. Ability to work globally/remotely for 1 month per calendar year in other locations to get experience.Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years cloud architecture/engineering experience
- Hands-on AWS experience designing and operating systems
- Experience with microservices and REST/GraphQL APIs
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and IAM
- Proven experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code
- AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, ECS, Lambda)
- IAM, VPC, networking, security groups
- Microservices architecture patterns
- API design (REST/GraphQL)
- Docker and container orchestration
- Terraform or CloudFormation
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline)
- Monitoring/logging (CloudWatch, X-Ray)
- Stakeholder management
- Technical leadership and mentoring
