The Solutions Architect will be accountable for end-to-end solution design across bigly squads and delivery partners, with a strong focus on healthcare and clinical systems. This role will drive architectural clarity across complex, multi-team initiatives and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and production-ready. The role is critical in enabling the successful delivery of clinic-based digital solutions, balancing business needs, technical constraints, and domain-specific requirements within a highly specialised healthcare environment. This is a niche role requiring a combination of strong solution architecture capability and healthcare domain experience.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

Proven experience designing and implementing healthcare / clinical systems (end-to-end)
Strong understanding of healthcare domain workflows, systems, and integrations
Experience working on clinical platforms (not just general enterprise systems)
Ability to design end-to-end solution architectures, including integrations across multiple systems

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

Own solution design for initiatives spanning multiple squads, systems, and vendors
Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure architectures
Define and govern API contracts and integration patterns, including with enterprise platforms (e.g. SAP Commerce Cloud)
Produce and maintain clear architecture artefacts, including
Provide technical assurance through design reviews, delivery checkpoints, and go-live readiness
Identify and actively manage technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs
Ensure architectural decisions consider security, reliability, scalability, observability, and long-term maintainability
Work closely with Product and Business stakeholders to balance customer outcomes, timelines, and technical trade-offs
Contribute to production code when needed to unblock teams or de-risk delivery
Provide reference implementations, templates, and reusable patterns
Participate in architecture-level code reviews

You are comfortable making pragmatic trade-offs, guiding teams through complexity, and rolling up your sleeves when delivery is at risk. You bring experience working within healthcare or clinical environments, and understand how to translate domain-specific requirements into scalable, practical solutions. You enjoy collaborating with product, business, and engineering stakeholders and can translate business intent into solid technical solutions.
