Client Account Executive (Digital Marketing)-Japanese Speaking

We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Account Executive to join our Japanese Sales Team based in Malaysia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding relationships with our Japanese clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Japanese (both spoken and written) and have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

What You’ll do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Japanese clients, providing exceptional support and fostering strong, long-term relationships.
  • Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of client accounts, ensuring timely delivery of services and resolution of any issues.
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding project status, new offerings, and market trends.
  • Promoting the expansion of business with existing clients.
  • Understanding of the client’s business and solid knowledge of the competitive market in which the brand operates.
  • Assist the Japanese Sales Team in managing the sales pipeline and achieving revenue targets.
  • Prepare proposals, sales presentations, and contracts in Japanese.
  • Follow up on leads and opportunities to close deals effectively.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor Degree in any discipline
  • Fluent in Japanese (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with Japanese clients.
  • Proficiency in English to collaborate with internal teams and clients outside Japan.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in sales / account management in digital marketing, influencer marketing or e-commerce business, with a track record of managing and growing client accounts, preferably with Japanese clients.
  • Solid knowledge of digital tools & channels.
  • Result-driven and have a good sense of responsibility as well as a strong enthusiasm.
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, task management systems).
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues and take initiative independently.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment with ability to catch up on information quickly and flexibly in the face of change.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good working attitude with a positive growth mindset to learn and progress.
