Senior Accountant, Fund Accounting
What you will do:
Review and/or prepare NAV calculations, financial statements, capital calls, distributions, investor notices, journal entries, and other private equity fund accounting deliverables while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Oversee, review, and provide feedback on the work of Accountants and Junior Accountants, ensuring all client deliverables meet quality standards, SLAs, and regulatory requirements.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, investors, and internal stakeholders, managing queries, resolving issues, escalating concerns when needed, and maintaining strong working relationships.
Plan, allocate, and monitor team workloads, manage workflow processes, support fund onboarding and accounting system conversions, and ensure efficient execution of operational activities.
What we offer
About You:
Strong knowledge of IndAS, IFRS, and US/UK/Luxembourg GAAP, with hands-on experience preparing and/or reviewing financial statements, disclosures, and working paper files.
Proven experience in fund accounting operations, preferably within private equity, including managing client deliverables, service operations, and team performance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF functions), Microsoft Office applications, accounting systems (preferably Investran), and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred qualifications include CPA/ACCA certification, experience in financial services/shared services and multinational environments, additional foreign language proficiency, and willingness to travel or undertake international secondments.
