Job Description
As a Manager on our fund administration team, you’ll work directly with hedge fund and private equity fund clients, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for outsourced CFO and fund accounting services. You’ll oversee fund operations, financial reporting, NAV calculations, investor allocations, and cash management activities, while collaborating with auditors, administrators, and other service providers. In this role, you’ll lead client engagements, review complex financial analyses and accounting matters, mentor junior team members, and drive process improvements to ensure exceptional service delivery across multiple client relationships.
What you’ll do
- You'll lead client engagements for hedge funds and private equity funds, serving as the primary point of contact and delivering outsourced CFO, accounting, and financial management services.
- You'll manage fund operations, including NAV calculations, investor allocations, reconciliations, cash management, invoice and payment approvals, investor reporting, and management fee and incentive allocation calculations.
- You'll prepare and review fund and management company financial statements, financial models, budget-to-actual analyses, and other ad hoc financial reports while advising clients on accounting principles and complex accounting matters.
- You'll collaborate with external auditors, fund administrators, payroll providers, and other service providers, while reviewing fund formation documents and service agreements to support compliance and operational effectiveness.
- You'll drive process improvement initiatives, support new client onboarding, mentor and develop junior team members, oversee deliverables across multiple offices, and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality client service.

- The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location ($90,000-$125,000).
Qualifications
- You have 7+ years of experience in the alternative investment management industry, including hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and real estate, with a strong understanding of investment management products and fund operations.
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with a CPA designation preferred; a public accounting and/or fund administration background is an advantage.
- You possess strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex issues, interpret data, and deliver effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- You demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proven track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- You are a proactive, hardworking, and adaptable self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with QuickBooks, OpenAir, Bill.com, and Expensify considered a plus.
