Job Description
As part of the Quality Assurance team, the Functional Test Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software solutions by executing testing activities within project teams or Agile squads. The role involves defining test strategies, designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and promoting best testing practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, maintain, and promote software testing best practices and methodologies.
- Participate in test planning activities and contribute to the definition of test strategies.
- Analyze business and functional requirements to design effective manual and automated test cases.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests (manual and automated).
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout their lifecycle.
- Monitor test execution progress and provide clear reporting on quality status and risks.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within QA processes and testing frameworks.
- Contribute to test completion activities, including test evidence collection, reporting, and sign-off.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in Software Testing or a similar Quality Assurance role.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing practices and tools.
- Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Familiarity with defect management and test management tools.

- Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework, etc.).
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps environments.
