The role
You will run recruitment end to end for our clients. You own the full cycle: intake with the client, sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and managing the process all the way to a closed hire.
Most of the roles you fill will be technical, engineering and product for startups. But this is not a tech-only seat. You will also close operations, quality, and people roles as our clients need them. If you only ever want to recruit software engineers, this is not the fit. We want someone who can hold a strong technical screen and just as happily run a quality engineer or an HR search.
The split looks like this:
Running roles (about 80%)
Take client intake and turn a vague brief into a clear, structured search
Source across channels, not just one. Find the people who are not answering job-board ads
Screen candidates and build shortlists your client trusts
Manage the process to close: scheduling, feedback loops, keeping candidates warm, handling offers
Keep the client aligned so shortlists land instead of bouncing
Sharpening how we recruit (about 20%)
Turn what works into reusable screening rubrics, sourcing playbooks, and outreach templates
Every role you run makes the next one faster. You are building a library, not one-off searches
Who does well here
We hire on attitude first. Two traits matter more than anything on your CV:
You own things and you never go silent. When a search stalls or a placement wobbles, you say so within 24 hours. You ask for help early instead of disappearing into a problem. Bad news delivered fast is respected here. Silence is not.
You move fast without cutting corners. You care about craft. You use tools and automation to work smarter, not to skip the thinking. Done well and done quickly are the same goal, not a trade off.

What you need
3 to 6 years in recruitment
You have run the full cycle yourself: sourced, screened, and closed. Not just one slice of it, and not with an agency doing the hard parts for you
You have recruited technical roles and can screen them credibly without being an engineer yourself
You are comfortable recruiting across role types, not locked to one function
Strong spoken and written English. You will be in front of both clients and candidates
Organized in an ATS. Your pipeline is clean and your notes are useful
What makes you stand out
Recruited across more than one market or region, especially EMEA or GCC
Genuine curiosity about AI sourcing tools. You do not need to be an expert. We run a stack most recruiters have never touched, and we need you to want to learn it
A blend of agency and in-house, or startup recruiting where you owned a lot with little around you
Work conditions
We practice what we sell to clients, so this is straightforward:
Contractor agreement, remote, full time capacity
Paid monthly in USD against your invoice
$500 to $650 USD per month base, plus a bonus for every role you close, with a written review at 90 days
Flexible hours with core overlap from 11:00 to 16:00 Cairo time
21 working days off per year plus Egyptian public holidays. Yes, as a contractor. That is the point
30 days notice, both ways
After 6 months and continued company growth, we open the conversation about formal employment
Full access and training on our stack: Ashby, Metaview, LinkedIn Recruiter, Clay, Fireflies, Claude, n8n and more
Occasional travel may come later, fully covered
Your first 30 days have one focus: take over one live role end to end on our process and stack, and turn what you learn into one documented improvement to how we screen. It is how we will know you can run a search solo and make the machine better, not just work a req.
How we hire
Screening call (30 min). Your background, your questions, honest answers about the company stage
Working session (60 min). A real sourcing and screening scenario from our work. No trick questions, no free labor. We want to see how you think
Founders round (45 min). Attitude and ways of working, with Tarek
Offer. Decision within 3 working days of your final round. We tell you either way
We respond to every applicant. If it is a no, you will hear it from us, not from silence.
