Accounting Data Entry Specialist - QuickBooks

Outsourcing Staffing Advantage is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Data Entry Specialist to support accounting operations for U.S.-based businesses. This role focuses on entering and maintaining financial records accurately using QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online). The ideal candidate will support invoice processing, bill entry, sales recording, and administrative accounting tasks while ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency.

This is a back-office position with limited client interaction, making it ideal for someone with strong English comprehension and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain financial data accurately in QuickBooks Desktop and/or QuickBooks Online
• Process invoices, bills, and sales transactions
• Record payments and maintain updated financial records
• Organize and verify accounting documentation
• Support billing and accounts-related administrative processes
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information
• Maintain internal records and reporting trackers
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
• Follow established accounting procedures and workflows
• Learn and adapt to client-specific processes and systems
• Reconciling bank and credit card accounts 

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience using QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online) required
• Background in accounting support, bookkeeping, invoicing, finance administration, or data entry
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Intermediate to advanced English comprehension and communication
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and digital systems
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Accounting, bookkeeping, or business administration studies
• QuickBooks certification or training
• Experience supporting outsourced accounting operations
