Job Description

Manager – Projects Sales, at Informa Markets in India will be part of a Data Centre Portfolio for revenue generation by way of space selling, sponsorship sales, cold calls, research-based sales, market research w.r.t. sales, crafting, developing, and executing Sales strategies. Ensuring organic sales. Work closely with internal & external customers, like Tele Sales, Operations & Marketing.

The successful candidates will be ultimately requested to develop new exhibitors, as well as maintain/upgrade existing ones running in and to ensure their smooth targets achievement. This resource will be required to adopt best-in-class technologies and periodically acquire new such skills both via self-study and ad-hoc specific trainings.

Qualifications

  • MBA is desired, but not essential.
  • B2B Publications, exhibitions sales experience desired.
  • Research based sales, followed by strategic sales.
  • Attitude & Aptitude towards concept sales.
  • Public Relations.
  • Ability to work with Associations.
  • Go-getter mind set

Additional Information

Manage Revenue, P&L, Budget & Team Management –

  • Assist Sr. Group Director by way of achieving projected India Numbers, produce State of Art events by way of how to be & how to look show.
  • Understand existing product, Manage P&L, demand forecasting & craft the strategies and execute the same for revenue growth
  • Understand the core markets of in the space of existing clients, sponsors besides managing -
  1. Associations
  2. Competition
  3. Sponsors
  4. Explore new markets
  5. Government officials
  6. Drive sales & Teams
  7. Willing to work with an aim of making Informa Markets show as Key to success of client’s business goals & supporting the trade by constant delivery of State of Art events.
  • Develop and maximize relationships with existing and new clients, sponsors, associations & business partners.
  • Build and Maintain contacts with government officials.
  • Team management i.e. Sales, Database, Marketing, & Operations.
  • Understand the MarTech deliverables of Marketing & impact of the same
