Job Description
Marketing Manager will be responsible for assisting GM Marketing in strategic planning, execution, and promotion of exhibitions to achieve specific marketing objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of MarTech/Automation, media channels, content marketing, campaign management, DPDP, and budgeting. Drive strategic alliances, high-value visitor acquisition, exhibitor leads with the right CX and CE and innovations. The role is multifaceted, requiring a blend of creative, analytical, and technical skills to drive growth and objectives.
The successful candidates will be required to develop new marketing strategies as well as to maintain/upgrade existing ones and to ensure their smooth operations in addition. Manager – Marketing, will be required to adopt best-in-class technologies and periodically acquire new such skills both via self-study and ad-hoc specific trainings.
Qualifications
- A master's degree (like an MBA with a marketing specialisation) is a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to think creatively, generate fresh ideas and adapt to evolving trends
- and technologies is crucial for success.
- Analysing market trends, customer behaviour, and campaign performance data
- is essential for making informed decisions and optimising strategies.
- Experience with customer data platform and the ability to leverage first-party
- data for audience segmentation and targeting existing and new audiences
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools and campaign orchestration
- Proficiency in marketing analytics platforms
Additional Information
Key responsibilities
• Assist GM in developing and optimising marketing strategies: Analysing market trends,
consumer needs, and competitor activities to devise comprehensive marketing
strategies aligned with exhibition objectives.
• Second SPOC in Leading and managing marketing campaigns: Planning, executing, and
overseeing marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital
(social media, email, SEO, SEM, etc.), and traditional advertising.
• Assist GM in Budget management: Developing and managing the show marketing budget,
allocating effectively to maximise ROI, and tracking campaign expenditure.
• Brand management: Ensuring the consistency of brand messaging, visual
identity, and CE and CX across all marketing channels and collaterals.
• Market research and analysis: Conducting thorough market research to
understand consumer behaviour, preferences, and trends, and utilising data
analytics tools to evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimise future
strategies.
• On-site event management: Leading and overseeing the on-site execution of the
exhibition. Managing high-value visitors, buyers, VIP’s media, association heads,
vendors and internal stakeholders, to ensure a seamless experience for
attendees. troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the event.
Collaboration: Fostering a collaborative environment and coordinating with other
departments like sales, Project, and operations.
• Reporting and analysis: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing
regular reports on campaign performance and insights to the reporting manager.
• Marketing Process: Adhering to system, process and compliance.
