Continuity Global Solutions (CGS) is seeking an experienced Training Manager to support an important government mission. This temporary position is anticipated to last up to two (2) years, with the possibility of future opportunities under this announcement.
The Training Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving training programs that support operational excellence and contractual requirements. Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive training programs supporting the CGS mission
- Develop and update course curricula, lesson plans, instructional materials, and training resources
- Continuously evaluate and revise training content to meet contractual requirements, operational needs, and industry best practices
- Deliver engaging instructor-led training in both virtual and in-person environments
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation in accordance with company and contractual requirements
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits of training records and program compliance
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide training guidance to leadership and operational staff
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on operational feedback and performance metrics
- Travel, including occasional short-notice travel, may be required to deliver or support training
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Preferred candidates will possess one or more of the following:
- Experience in training management, instructional design, adult learning, workforce development, program management, law enforcement, investigations, case management, or related disciplines
- Experience developing and delivering specialized technical or operational training programs
- Professional training certifications or instructional design certifications are preferred
- Demonstrated experience developing curricula, lesson plans, facilitator guides, and training materials
- Experience delivering instructor-led training both virtually and in person
- Experience teaching communication, interviewing, situational awareness, or interpersonal skills to diverse audiences
- Experience working with programs serving foreign-born populations
- Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills
- Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with changing priorities
- Ability to adapt quickly and respond to operational needs with professionalism and sound judgment
- Experience leading or mentoring teams and supporting employee development
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, when mission requirements dictate
- Foreign language proficiency is a plus
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Successfully complete all required pre-employment screening and government suitability requirements, including:
- Background investigation
- Fingerprinting
- Credit review, where applicable
- Completion of the OF-306 Declaration for Federal Employment (or equivalent required forms)
- Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9)
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Be able to obtain and maintain any required government approvals throughout employment
- If applicable, certify registration with the Selective Service System in accordance with federal law
Work Environment
- Remote or designated work location (to be determined)
- Full-time position
- Travel, including occasional short-notice travel, may be required
- Position requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and computer use
- Position includes both virtual and in-person training delivery
