Continuity Global Solutions (CGS) is seeking an experienced Field Safety/Security Manager to support an important government mission. This temporary position is anticipated to last up to two (2) years, with the possibility of future opportunities under this announcement.
Position Responsibilities
The Field Safety/Security Manager provides leadership and oversight for field operations, ensuring personnel safety, operational effectiveness, and compliance with contractual requirements. Responsibilities include:
- Foster a positive, professional, and mission-focused work environment
- Oversee daily field operations to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual requirements
- Monitor field workflow to ensure timely and accurate documentation and reporting
- Resolve operational issues that arise during daily field activities
- Conduct field audits and quality assurance reviews to verify compliance, completeness, and accuracy
- Maintain program reference materials, operational documentation, policies, procedures, and project files
- Provide guidance to field staff regarding operational procedures, safety protocols, and contractual requirements
- Oversee field activities involving address verification, interviews with family members and sponsors, case management support, and wellness checks
- Ensure timely identification, documentation, and reporting of sensitive situations, including suspected trafficking, abandonment, neglect, or other safety concerns
- Coordinate with leadership to support operational readiness, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned
- This position is primarily remote but requires regular field oversight. Travel, including occasional short-notice travel, may be required to support operational needs.
Requirements
Preferred candidates will possess one or more of the following:
- Experience in field operations, case management, investigations, program management, law enforcement, security management, or related disciplines
- Experience working with programs serving foreign-born populations
- Demonstrated leadership experience as a manager, supervisor, team lead, mentor, or trainer
- Experience supervising personnel in fast-paced, evolving, and occasionally high-stress operational environments
- Strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and effective decision-making skills
- Experience planning, coordinating, and managing field operations involving diverse populations and multicultural environments
- Ability to remain calm and professional while responding to urgent or sensitive situations
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, when mission requirements dictate
- Foreign language proficiency is a plus
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Successfully complete all required pre-employment screening and government suitability requirements, including:
- Background investigation
- Fingerprinting
- Credit review, where applicable
- Completion of the OF-306 Declaration for Federal Employment (or equivalent required forms)
- Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9)
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Be able to obtain and maintain any required government approvals throughout employment
- If applicable, certify registration with the Selective Service System in accordance with federal law
Work Environment
- Remote or designated work location (to be determined)
- Full-time position
- Regular travel, including occasional short-notice travel, may be required
- Position requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, driving, and computer use
- Work may involve visits to field locations and interaction with diverse populations in a variety of environments
