SAP Basis Consultant / Administrator (Band 6B)

Valleysoft | Center of Excellence, based in Riyadh, is a leading IT services provider delivering comprehensive technology solutions in partnership with global vendors like SAP. We are currently seeking a skilled SAP Basis Consultant / Administrator (Band 6B) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of SAP systems to ensure optimal performance and availability for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP Basis administration, including system installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. You will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable and efficient SAP environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform SAP system installations, configurations, upgrades, and patching activities.
• Monitor SAP system performance and conduct tuning for improved efficiency.
• Manage SAP transports and change management processes.
• Provide daily support and troubleshooting for SAP Basis related incidents and problems.
• Manage SAP user administration and authorizations in collaboration with security teams.
• Participate in landscape design and implementation activities.
• Maintain thorough documentation of SAP Basis activities and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture and Basis components.
• Experience with SAP installations, upgrades, patch management, and system monitoring.
• Familiarity with SAP transport management system (TMS) and change management processes.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant SAP Basis certifications are an advantage.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Nationality: Saudi Arabian – mandatory requirement.
