About the role

• Design and validate electrical subsystems including power distribution, motor drive, and sensor interface circuits for our devices

• Create and maintain schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materials, following the team's established design and release processes

• Evaluate and qualify sensors, actuators, and power management components for use in a regulated pharmaceutical environment

• Execute board bring-up, functional testing, and debugging, documenting findings and root causes to support continuous design improvement

• Collaborate with firmware and mechanical engineers on interface definitions, connector specifications, and integration test planning

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with hands-on design work across multiple product development cycles

• Experience designing and validating circuits for power distribution, motor control, sensing, or communication interfaces in electromechanical systems

• Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout, and BOM management using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, or equivalent)

• Solid debugging and bench skills, with the ability to bring up new boards, characterize performance, and drive issues to root cause

• Previous successful collaboration with firmware and mechanical engineers on interface definitions, connector specifications, and system integration

• Familiarity with compliance testing and design practices related to EMC, safety, or environmental standards

• Strong documentation habits, with an emphasis on capturing design rationale, test results, and lessons learned
