About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that drive our business forward. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products and features that meet the needs of our users and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications and systems
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members
Debug and resolve technical issues across the application stack
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, or Go
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
Experience with web development frameworks and technologies
Familiarity with database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL)
Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks
Understanding of security best practices and secure coding principles
Contributions to open-source projects or active GitHub profile
Experience working in agile/scrum environments
