Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Development Representative to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for the sports and lifestyle industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential business clients and partnership opportunities across retail, wholesale, and institutional channels
  • Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting activities including cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, and networking
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs and determine fit with Adidas product offerings and solutions
  • Qualify inbound leads and schedule meetings for the sales team with decision-makers and key stakeholders
  • Develop and execute strategic outreach campaigns targeting specific market segments and verticals
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and prospect interactions in CRM system
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to develop account strategies and ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified opportunities, meetings booked, and pipeline contribution
  • Stay current on Adidas product lines, industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior Sales Development Representatives
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to generate leads and build brand awareness
  • Provide feedback to marketing team on campaign effectiveness and market insights

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or business development role, preferably in B2B environment
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and KPIs
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and lead qualification frameworks (BANT, MEDDIC, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage C-level executives
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and sales engagement tools
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and prospects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly and establish credibility with diverse audiences
  • Strong research and analytical skills to identify ideal customer profiles and market opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the sports, apparel, retail, or consumer goods industry
  • Knowledge of the athletic footwear and apparel market landscape
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies
  • Familiarity with sales intelligence tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.)
  • Previous experience mentoring or training junior team members
  • Multilingual capabilities
  • Passion for sports, fitness, and active lifestyle
