Job Title: Supply System Analyst
Job Location: Atlanta/Albany, GA
Labor Category: Exempt
Clearance Level: Secret (As applicable)
Travel Requirement: Up to 25% of the time
Scope of Work:
The Supply Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing warehouse and supply system operations to support efficient material management and warehouse performance in a Federal Government environment. This position serves as the primary Warehouse Management System (WMS) functional analyst, utilizing WMS and other Government systems to research transactions, identify trends, resolve operational issues, and ensure the effective movement of material throughout the supply lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze warehouse and supply system transactions to identify operational issues, trends, and process improvements.
- Perform research and transaction code inquiries within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other Government data systems.
- Serve as the primary WMS point of contact (POC) for Government representatives regarding system operations and functionality.
- Monitor warehouse data and proactively identify workload trends, system issues, and operational risks.
- Coordinate with Government personnel and functional users to resolve operational and procedural issues.
- Evaluate existing supply processes and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency and system performance.
- Assess the impact of proposed policy, procedural, and system changes on warehouse and supply operations.
- Support material accountability throughout receiving, storage, warehousing, inventory control, issuing, packing, and transportation activities.
- Maintain accurate system records, reports, and documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Government regulations, company policies, and established warehouse procedures.
- Complete all required training within established timelines.
- Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and directives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting warehouse operations, supply systems, logistics, or inventory management in a Federal Government installation, military installation, or comparable Government environment.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or equivalent inventory management system within the past five (5) years.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing supply transactions, researching system issues, and resolving operational problems.
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, receiving, storage, issuing, packing, shipping, and transportation functions.
- Experience utilizing Government data systems and interpreting operational data to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain an Information Technology (IT) Level II designation and any required security clearance necessary to perform the duties of the position.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend operational solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Government representatives, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Hold and Maintain a Secret Clearance (Tier 3) as required by the contract.
- Must be able to maintain the ability to access the government worksite.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience supporting Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) warehouse or distribution operations.
- Experience serving as a functional lead or subject matter expert for a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Knowledge of Government logistics systems and supply regulations.
- Experience analyzing warehouse performance metrics and identifying process improvement opportunities.
- Familiarity with inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and material accountability processes.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- This position is primarily performed in an office setting.
- Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
