Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Location: Atlanta/Albany, GA
Labor Category: Exempt
Clearance Level: Secret (As applicable)
Travel Requirement: Up to 25% of the time

Scope of Work:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of warehouse operations. This position provides direct oversight of warehouse personnel, inventory activities, shipping and receiving, material accountability, and daily workflow while ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements, Government standards, and established operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, shipping, and material distribution.
  • Provide direct oversight, guidance, and daily direction to assigned warehouse personnel.
  • Assign work, monitor productivity, and adjust daily priorities to meet customer and mission requirements.
  • Coordinate staffing and work schedules to ensure efficient operations while minimizing overtime.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through proper material accountability, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or equivalent system to process transactions, track inventory, and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor warehouse operations to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and established procedures.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel while promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with Government representatives and internal teams to resolve operational issues and support customer requirements.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment, materials, and storage areas are maintained in a safe, organized, and operational condition.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports, inventory records, and operational documentation as required.
  • Complete all required training within established timelines.
  • Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and directives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain in support of Federal Government installation logistics, distribution, or supply operations.
  • Three (3) years of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or equivalent inventory management system within the past five (5) years.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising personnel, coordinating work schedules, and managing daily operational activities.
  • Experience planning, organizing, and controlling multiple work activities while ensuring contract performance objectives are achieved.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Government representatives, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Hold and Maintain a Secret Clearance (Tier 3) as required by the contract.
  • Must be able to maintain the ability to access the government worksite.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience supporting a unionized workforce, including working within a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) environment.
  • Direct experience utilizing a Warehouse Management System (WMS) in support of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) operations.
  • Knowledge of DLA warehouse, distribution, inventory management, and logistics processes, including experience supporting DLA sites or contracts.
  • Completion of DLA-specific training, certifications, or other formal logistics training related to warehouse and supply chain operations.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

  • This position is primarily performed in an office setting; however, regular site visits and field inspections are  Must be able to navigate active work sites when necessary. This may include standing, walking, bending, or climbing for extended periods while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). 
  • Must be able to work on-call, alternate, and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
