HVAC Field Supervisor
Full-Time Onsite – West Babylon, NY
Monday–Friday | Typically 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

The Field Service Leader is a working Senior Technician that will help bridge the gap between the office, field, and customer on the service side of the business. The position will assist the leadership team in the development of technicians and be the primary resource for field-based assessments. Working closely with Service Leadership, ensure HVACR field team members are following company standards, safety guidelines, and compliance with local codes. This role requires a commitment to supporting others (servant leadership) and empowering technicians to follow best practices and make good decisions for the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of existing company policies and procedures including company safety protocols
  • Assist in estimation when requested or when items are identified in the field and provide details on material, hours, equipment and misc.
  • Provide detailed information to Service Management when requested regarding technician performance
  • Assist in solutions for temporary repairs, safety/site obstacles, etc
  • Coach, and support technicians and team leads throughout daily operations including phone support after hours when needed
  • Routinely work with Service Supervisor and Parts Specialist to communicate needs and recommendations for inventory adjustments
  • Assist Dispatch with scheduling manpower and equipment specific to work orders when asked or when necessary to provide best outcomes
  • Communication with vendors, customers, manufacturers, and management
  • Accountability and pride in individual & team performance
  • First line of defense for field service issues (internal and external)
  • Performance checks and updates when necessary, and/or requested
  • Communicating to Service and company Leadership on a regular basis for the betterment of the business

What You Bring

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of HVAC service and troubleshooting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial and residential HVAC systems
  • Experience with AAON, Mitsubishi, Daikin, and LG systems preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid, clean driver’s license required
  • EPA Certification preferred
