Trainee (Apprenticeship)-Housekeeping (Seychellois national only)

Job Description

Constance Ephelia, our luxury resort destination in Seychelles, is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our Housekeeping team as Trainees on an apprenticeship programme for 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career in the hospitality industry whilst receiving comprehensive on-the-job training and support. You will work alongside experienced housekeeping professionals to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across our resort facilities.

• Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to the highest standards
•  Follow established cleaning procedures and use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently
•  Report maintenance issues, damages, or discrepancies to supervisory staff promptly
•  Maintain accurate records of room status and cleaning completion
• Assist in organising and restocking cleaning supplies and linen
•  Work collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless operations across all shifts
•  Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
•  Respond professionally to guest requests and maintain discretion regarding guest privacy
•  Participate in induction training and ongoing skills development programmes
•  Support the housekeeping team during peak periods and special events

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
•  Excellent time keeping and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
•  Physical stamina and capability to work on your feet for extended periods
•  Reliable, organised, and professional approach to work
•  Effective people skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisory staff
•  Basic understanding of health and safety practices
•  Flexibility to work various shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays
• Age: 16 years and above
