We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our Hawaiian inspired street food concept in Qatar. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and present a variety of sushi rolls, and specialty items
· Maintain consistent quality, freshness, and portion standards
· Manage sushi station setup, mise en place, and daily prep
· Ensure all seafood and ingredients meet quality standards before use
· Collaborate with the kitchen team to support smooth service
· Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required
Requirements
· 3–5 years of experience in a sushi or Japanese kitchen
· Proficiency in traditional and modern sushi techniques
· Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
· Good communication skills in English
· Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
· Team player with positive attitude and attention to detail
