We are looking to hire a talented Material Planning Administrator to join our team.Ā The role is responsible for planning and organizing production schedules in our manufacturing plant. The position is based in Xanthi, Greece.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Liaise with procurement team to agree upon the conversion of the material requirements plan into Purchase Orders (PO)
- Cooperate with procurement and production planning teams to ensure all material plans are up to date and responsive to changes in material requirements
- Perform all routine tasks to convert planned orders into purchase requisitions (PRs) including the creation and management of material planned requirements
- Monitor the status of purchase orders, inventory levels and production requirements, conduct follow-up actions to avoid shortages of materials that affect the production schedule.
- Communicate effectively to the responsible Division necessary information for the creation and maintenance of detailed material planning parameters in MRP system.
- Mobilize actions as required to support optimal management of inventory while reducing scrap/waste of materials.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Production Management or related fields
- Excellent MS Office knowledge
- Fluency in English & Greek
- Familiar with manufacturing concepts
- Strong multi-tasking, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiar with SAP or other ERP systems will be considered a plus
- Basic knowledge of German will be considered a plus
