Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we're looking to hire a Shift Supervisor to join our team in Pedino, Kilkis.
The role is part of a modern metal fabrication operation focused on the manufacturing of metallic enclosures and industrial products. Production activities include sheet metal processing, laser cutting, welding and assembly operations, grinding and finishing, as well as surface treatment processes such as sandblasting, powder coating, and industrial painting.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Shift Supervisor will be responsible for leading production teams, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets across the manufacturing process.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
• Supervise production operations within the assigned area to ensure the achievement of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets
• Coordinate daily activities across sheet metal processing, welding, assembly, finishing, and surface treatment operations
• Monitor, analyze, and report production KPIs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Identify, investigate, and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth manufacturing processes
• Ensure the efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and production resources
• Propose and implement improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, efficiency, and product quality
• Collaborate daily with team members and cross-functional departments, including Maintenance, Quality, Planning, and EHS, to achieve operational objectives
• Lead, coach, and support production personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous development
• Ensure compliance with company policies, production procedures, quality standards, and customer requirements
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
• Work in a rotating shift schedule
Requirements
• 2–5 years of experience in a Production Shift Supervisor or similar leadership role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal processing, welding, assembly, or related manufacturing operations will be considered a strong asset
• BSc in Engineering, Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; MSc will be considered an asset
• Strong knowledge of production processes and manufacturing operations
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience will be considered an advantage)
• Fluency in both English and Greek, written and verbal
• Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations within an industrial environment
• Strong leadership, people management, and team development skills
• Excellent organizational, planning, and communication abilities
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Willingness to work in shifts
