Chief of Staff

We’re seeking someone who is highly capable, proactive, and organized; someone who can write and speak well and, above all, is extremely conscientious. Great organizers can keep dozens of threads in their head and not drop any of them; that rare skill is what we’re looking for.

We’re looking for someone interested in a high-ownership role: the job ranges from booking travel to standing up a hiring pipeline to planning a dinner for twelve with a seating chart that actually works. Some days are logistics; some days are judgment calls the founder would otherwise have to make herself. We want someone who treats both as worth doing well.

What you'll do

• Manage calendar, scheduling, and logistics for the founder and head of strategy

• Draft emails and handle follow-ups

• Coordinate meetings, dinners, offsites, and events

• Support hiring: scheduling interviews, coordinating candidates, keeping the pipeline moving

• Run onboarding for new hires so they're productive on day one

• Manage vendors/external relationships

• Own day-to-day operational tasks and special projects that don't fit anyone else's job

• Act as a reliable thought partner who makes the founder and head of strategy more effective

Quadrillion Labs builds Qualia, an agentic research intelligence platform that does real computational research — running experiments, analyzing data, and surfacing insight for the people who do this work at the highest level.

We're a team out of Stanford NLP, HRT, Citadel, Jane Street, Google Research, and Harvard Med, building for an audience that looks a lot like us. We've raised ~$18M from Conviction, Audacious, Bloomberg Beta, ex/ante, and angels including Wes McKinney, the creator of pandas. We're ~10 people in NYC, scaling to ~15 in the coming months.

We think this is the Industrial Revolution moment for research, and we're building the team to define what comes next.
