Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Dutch-speaking Eneco customers, handling inbound enquiries via phone, email, and live chat with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Assist customers with questions related to energy contracts, tariff plans, billing statements, and account management within the energy sector.
  • Guide customers through Eneco's sustainable energy products and services, including solar panel solutions, smart energy meters, and green energy packages.
  • Accurately log all customer interactions and case resolutions in the CRM system, ensuring complete and up-to-date records.
  • Identify and escalate complex technical or billing issues to the appropriate internal departments, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions for all customers.
  • Proactively inform customers about relevant energy usage tips, new product offerings, and any changes to energy regulations or tariffs applicable to their accounts.
  • Collaborate with team members and team leaders to maintain consistently high quality and customer satisfaction standards in line with Eneco's brand values.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing customer feedback and insights to support the optimization of service delivery within the energy industry.

Requirements

  • Native or fluent Dutch language skills (both spoken and written) are essential for this role — candidates must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with Dutch-speaking customers at all times.
  • Valid EU passport or EU citizenship (mandatory).
  • A good working knowledge of English for internal communications and training purposes.
  • Previous experience in a customer service, contact centre, or client-facing role is advantageous; experience within the energy industry or utilities sector is a strong plus.
  • Strong computer literacy and the ability to navigate CRM platforms and digital tools with confidence.
