Brewery Bar + Kitchen represents good times, food, laughter and entertainment in a vibrant pub style, sports bar, located on the doorstep to Accor Stadium!
Working alongside our talented team of Chefs led by our gifted Head Chef, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences across our restaurant, bar, events and hotel operations. This is an opportunity to be a part of the major events that operate at Sydney Olympic Park, by joining a precinct with multiple development paths available.
We are currently recruiting for:
- A part time Demi Chef
- A part time Commis Chef
As a Demi Chef, you will support the daily operations of the kitchen, contributing to high‑quality food preparation and service across breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, functions and buffet service. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and presentation standards while ensuring your section runs efficiently and productively
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist with mise en place, stock rotation and minimising wastage
- Prepare, cook and present high‑quality dishes in line with brand standards
- Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment at all times
- Support and guide junior team members, leading by example
As a Commis Chef, this position will be involved in the preparation and cooking of meals, operating commercial cooking equipment such as mixers, steamers, fryers, ovens and stoves and ensuring a clean and safe work environment is maintained.
What you’ll be doing:
- Food preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, functions and buffet service.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment whilst ensuring a product of high quality and presentation standards.
- Organise an assigned section and ensure it runs efficiently and productively.
- Ensure all food produced is in line with kitchen recipes and standards.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Previous experience in a hotel or high‑volume restaurant environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Creative culinary mind, up to date on local and international food trends
- Ability to work closely with suppliers to source the best quality product
- Flexibility to work a rotating roaster, including weekends, nights, public holidays and event days
- Sound knowledge of food safety standards
