Job Description
The Senior Research Manager is the senior member of administrative staff in the Centre, with responsibility for managing all administrative matters in collaboration with the CARCEIT Director and other relevant staff in GSE and NU. He/she is responsible for
- monitoring all research projects conducted in the Centre;
- co-ordinating grant application and awarding processes;
- contributing to and managing reporting processes;
- day-to-day supervision of other staff;
- assisting with the development of Centre policies and procedures;
- representing the Centre to external parties;
- other duties as required.
- collaborate with the school's Dean, Vice Dean for research, research chairs, research Institute, research Committee, and individual faculty and personnel to develop a culture of institutional support for grant applications, grant management, and grant-based research;
- preparation of other documents and reports within the established time limits within the scope of its competence;
- participation in identification, evaluation, management and monitoring of risks within the framework of supervised direction;
- timely and proper fulfillment of other orders of the Dean, the Head and the University management within the framework of his/her responsibilities and powers.
Qualifications
Bachelor/ Specialist
Five years min.
Minimum three years with master`s degree in the relevant area
Experience of managing projects and people.
