Key Responsibilities

Review and moderate AI-generated and user-submitted content on social media platforms in the German language, ensuring strict adherence to community guidelines, platform policies, and regulatory standards.
Identify, assess, and action harmful, misleading, inappropriate, or policy-violating content including hate speech, misinformation, graphic material, and spam across social media channels.
Evaluate the accuracy and quality of AI moderation decisions, providing critical human oversight and feedback to continuously improve automated content filtering systems.
Annotate, label, and categorise social media content to support the training and refinement of AI and machine learning models used in content moderation workflows.
Escalate complex, sensitive, or high-risk content cases to specialist teams or senior moderators in a timely and accurate manner, following established escalation protocols.
Maintain precise and detailed records of moderation decisions and case outcomes using internal content management and reporting tools.
Stay continuously informed of evolving social media trends, emerging online threats, platform policy updates, and relevant legal developments affecting the German-speaking digital landscape.
Collaborate closely with quality assurance, trust and safety, and operations teams to uphold the highest standards of content integrity across the social media platform.

Requirements

Native or fluent proficiency in German (both spoken and written) is essential for this role, as all content reviewed will be in the German language.
A valid EU passport or the legal right to live and work within the European Union is mandatory.
A strong understanding of social media platforms, digital content ecosystems, and online community behaviour is highly desirable.
Excellent critical thinking, attention to detail, and sound judgment when assessing sensitive or ambiguous content in a fast-paced social media environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle exposure to graphic, disturbing, or emotionally challenging content in a professional and resilient manner, supported by wellbeing resources provided by the employer.
Strong digital literacy, including comfort with content management systems, reporting tools, and AI-assisted moderation platforms.
A good command of English for internal communication, team collaboration, and documentation purposes is an advantage.
