Job Overview

Mercier Consultancy Group is currently recruiting for a German Speaking CS Agent Online Travel Agent position in Greece on behalf of a leading international online travel platform. This is a fantastic opportunity for fluent German speakers who are passionate about travel and customer service to secure one of the most exciting German-speaking jobs available in the European market today. Working remotely from within Greece, you will serve as the primary point of contact for German-speaking customers, delivering outstanding support across all aspects of their online travel experience — from booking enquiries and itinerary management to complaints resolution and post-travel feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional, empathetic, and efficient customer support to German-speaking travellers via phone, email, and live chat channels
Assist customers with flight, hotel, car rental, and holiday package bookings through the online travel platform
Handle booking modifications, cancellations, and refund requests in accordance with company policies and travel industry regulations
Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to travel disruptions, delayed flights, hotel discrepancies, and other travel-related issues
Provide accurate, up-to-date information on destinations, travel requirements, visa guidelines, and travel advisories to German-speaking clients
Liaise with airlines, hotels, and third-party travel suppliers to manage escalations and ensure positive customer outcomes
Accurately log all customer interactions, case notes, and resolutions within the company's CRM system
Consistently meet and exceed customer satisfaction targets, quality benchmarks, and performance KPIs within the travel support environment

Requirements

Native or fluent German language skills (both spoken and written) are essential for this role
A valid EU passport or the legal right to work within the European Union (mandatory)
Previous experience in customer service, ideally within the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry, is highly desirable
Strong working knowledge of online travel platforms, booking systems, or GDS tools is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping customers navigate their travel experiences
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, demonstrating strong time management and self-motivation
A good command of English to facilitate internal communications and training within the international team
