Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer support in fluent Dutch via phone, email, and live chat for an internationally recognised online travel platform.
Assist Dutch-speaking travellers with bookings, itinerary changes, cancellations, and refund requests in a professional and empathetic manner.
Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding flights, hotels, car rentals, travel packages, and destination guidelines.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints relating to travel disruptions, booking discrepancies, or payment issues with efficiency and care.
Collaborate closely with travel suppliers, airlines, and accommodation partners to ensure swift resolution of customer escalations.
Maintain thorough and accurate records of all customer interactions, transactions, and case outcomes within the CRM system.
Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell relevant travel products and services that genuinely enhance the customer's travel experience.
Stay informed about travel industry trends, destination advisories, and platform updates to provide customers with the most relevant guidance possible.

Requirements

Native or fluent Dutch language skills (both spoken and written) are essential for this role.
A valid EU passport or the legal right to work within the European Union is mandatory.
A genuine passion for the travel industry and a desire to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Previous experience in customer service, ideally within the travel, tourism, or hospitality sector, is highly advantageous.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Comfortable working remotely with reliable internet access, and proficient in using digital tools and CRM platforms.
A good working knowledge of English is beneficial for internal communication and training purposes.
