Job Description
The Waiter/Waitress plays a key role in creating memorable dining experiences by providing attentive, personalized, and professional service to guests. This position contributes to guest satisfaction by ensuring that every interaction reflects the hotel’s standards, values, and commitment to responsible hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a positive first impression.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
- Ensure tables are properly set, maintained, and cleared according to service standards.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
- Follow hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.
- Contribute to a positive team spirit and support colleagues when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a hotel or restaurant is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Guest-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards is a plus
