Job Description
The Bartender is responsible for creating high-quality beverages and delivering an engaging and welcoming bar experience. This role plays a key part in guest satisfaction by combining product knowledge, creativity, and excellent service while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and brand standards.
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive bar experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and storage spaces.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and stock control of bar supplies.
- Recommend beverages, promote specials, and upsell where appropriate.
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
- Comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor guest consumption and act responsibly in line with alcohol service policies.
- Support bar setup for events and special functions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a hotel or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar service techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of POS systems is an advantage.
