Job Description
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Submit accurate, correct Safety, Health, Hygiene and Environmental information for internal reports within defined deadlines.
- Identify where data errors are and correct it
- Generate ad-hoc specific Safety, Health, Hygiene and Environmental reports for management as required
- Generate regular site-specific Safety, Health, Hygiene and Environmental reports and prepare managers for SHE meetings
- Manage ETL for SHE data to ensure consistent reporting from the transactional systems into the various group reports
- Evaluate use and effectiveness of systems
- Address systems and data queries from users
- Review and confirm data integrity on the systems prior to reporting periods
- Update and maintain user access on transactional SHE systems
- Train and assess users on the SHE systems and provide on-going support
- Liaise with all relevant role players to ensure stable SHE IT systems working environment
- Systems include, but are not limited to:Isometrix, Essbase and SharePoint
- User acceptance testing of SHE IT Systems
- Maintain Platinum Way Library for operation.
- Verify documentation in Platinum Way libraries conform to Group requirements
- Train employees on the availability of standards and procedures
- Verify availability of operational standards, procedures and requirements
- Communicate new and changed group standards, procedures and requirements to relevant employees at the operation
- Manage communication to Corporate and Functional Centres in the case of injuries, incidents, HPI (high
- potential incidents) and fatalities within the defined timeframes
- Manage the distribution and compilation of Safety, Health and Environment communication material
This role is at a Band 7 level reporting to the Section Manager SHE.
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Administration qualification Experience
Experience
- Work experience in the mining and/or processing industry.
- Experience working with transactional software systems.
- Experience in administrative function, specifically document control and records management
Knowledge and Skills
- Mining and/or processing Industry
- Legislation applicable to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment
- Document control and records management
- Company Governance Policies, Procedures & Management Systems. Skills (Key technical skills required):
- Demonstrable abilities or proficiencies: Organisational skills, − Interpersonal skills, Analytical skills, Computer skills, Communication skills and Problem solving skills.
- Computer literacy
- Valid driving license
