The Role
As the HVAC Installation Field Supervisor, you will oversee residential HVAC installation crews while serving as the primary field resource for technical troubleshooting, installation support, quality assurance, and warranty-related concerns.
You will work closely with Install Managers, Service Leadership, and Technicians to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support HVAC installation teams while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and quality workmanship.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and support for complex installations, startups, troubleshooting, and repair situations.
- Diagnose and resolve installation-related issues, warranty concerns, and system performance problems in the field.
- Conduct jobsite visits, ride-alongs, and quality inspections to ensure installations meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local code requirements.
- Train, develop, and coach technicians on technical skills, installation best practices, customer service, and professional growth.
- Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, and manpower allocation to maximize productivity and operational efficiency.
- Partner with manufacturers, internal departments, and field teams to resolve equipment and installation-related concerns.
- Support technicians during escalated customer situations and ensure concerns are resolved professionally and effectively.
- Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback to drive continuous improvement and reduce callbacks.
- Serve as a technical leader and company representative, ensuring every project reflects Adam Home Services' commitment to exceptional service and workmanship.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Prior leadership, Lead Installer, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Understanding of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
- Strong knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, airflow, combustion, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, installation manuals, and technical documentation
- Experience resolving warranty and installation-related issues
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
