Job Description
Proven experience in conducting: for hydropower projects, power transmission lines, or other linear infrastructure projects, in accordance with national regulations and international best practices.
- Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA),
- Initial Environmental Examinations (IEE),
- Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA),
- Experience in preparing Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP) for substations, power transmission lines, or other linear infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of environmental requirements applicable to infrastructure projects.
- Experience on projects financed by the World Bank or other development finance institutions (DFIs) would be a significant advantage.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in an environment-related field.
- English fluent
