Job Description
Within the IT department, we are looking for a Software Developer with expertise in network automation and monitoring systems to join our Automation team. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain automation solutions that streamline network operations, enhance observability, and improve system reliability. You will collaborate with IT, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable tools that support business-critical services.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain automation scripts and applications for network configuration, provisioning, and monitoring.
Software Design including the definition of architecture, components, interfaces and further characteristics of systems and components.
Software Development including programming, verification, software testing and debugging.
Integrate monitoring tools (e.g., OpManager, Grafana, LiveAction) with custom dashboards and alerting systems.
Build APIs and automation workflows to reduce manual network management tasks.
Collaborate with network engineers and system administrators to identify automation opportunities.
Responsible to analyze and/ or create software specifications for assigned high to very high complexity modules/ components based on the information received from technical responsible.
Troubleshoot and optimize automation pipelines to ensure high availability and resilience.
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Strong programming skills in Python, Go.
Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SNMP) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Familiarity with monitoring platforms (Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and Databases (MS SQL).
Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
