Job Description
The Project Manager leads and manages a project within the specified time, budget and quality framework to the satisfaction of the customers (Internal & External) reaching profitability target of the product over lifetime. Ensure proper communication and information flow within the team and all project stakeholders.
Core responsibilities:
- Project central interface with customer (internal and/or external) to ensure alignment and achievement of customer project milestones.
- The assigned project is developed by following the internal PLC (Product Life Cycle) structure and including all disciplines coordination.
- Establishing, preparing and tracking the schedule for implementation. Define corrective measures if deviating from the project schedule.
- Responsible for project budget and project resources control based on approved project structure.
- Accountable for the successful execution of all tasks necessary to achieve agreed functional, quality, timing and financial objectives.
- Hold regular team/customer meetings to ensure proper task alignment and customer expectations being met.
- Manage escalation of tasks within the cross-functional team as needed with RnD Management Team.
- Report the project status during the various needed situation (Management meetings, Project reviews).
- Enter proper data into project management tools and tracking systems (ePSR, Global PS, Planisware).
- Perform the change management.
- Ensure interfaces between product development and manufacturing teams in the region are aligned.
- Coordinate with production plant to ensure all industrialization/start up milestones are met according to project schedule.
- Help to build up a supportive culture of cooperation and teamwork within the project.
- With the support of quality, drive resolution of 0KM & common field related warranty issues.
- Additional project management support tasks as workload permit.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in administration, engineering and/or related discipline
- Advanced English
- Experience:
- 5 + years of project management experience in a manufacturing or product development environment
- Product Life Cycle (PLC) methodologies
- In manufacturing or industrialization processes
- In project financial management and budget control
- Cross-functional team leadership and stakeholder management
- Working with multi-disciplinary environments
- Managing warranty and field-related quality issues
- Negotiation with stakeholders
- Knowledge:
- Process management (advanced)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
