Job Description

  • Manage group inquiries, coordinate room blocks, negotiate rates, and draft proposals through PMS (Opera Cloud) system.
  • Prepare contract and all needed documentation and share it with the client. Organize signing of contract from the hotel side and exchange signed contract with client before the event.
  • Monitor payments and make sure the group is guaranteed.
  • To develop Leisure segment with building of strong and effective relationships with clients, based on daily business communication.
  • Handle all incoming calls and emails related to Leisure groups inquiries to ensure that all leads are addressed.
  • Host familiarization (fam) trips, conduct site inspections, and represent the hotel cluster at relevant trade shows and industry networking events
  • Following the corporate standards, answer the client for request for proposal in 24 hours after receiving it with corporate e-mail;
  • Ensure accurate and timely updates for the group and that all leads are tracked and followed up on;
  • Act as the primary liaison for partners regarding contracting, rate loading, marketing initiatives, and product knowledge
  • Increase leisure segment based on commercial offers and sales calls.
  • Sharing specific requests or related details of travelers or tour groups. According to the instructions, creating Banqueting order.
  • Contact client representatives according to their feedback about passed event. Communicate with hotel team based on this information.
  • Prepare monthly report about budget, profit received for Group and leisure segment.
  • Actively take part in the department briefings, activities, ‘bring back old business’ actions as requested by the Department Director;
  • Report about lost business, communicating with client and make sales actions to receive such leads back;

Qualifications

  • At least 1 to 3 years of experience in hotel/resort sales, specifically focused on leisure, groups, or MICE segments.
  • Ability to communicate with all hotel departments and clients at the same time;   manage solutions as the result of team work;
  • Result oriented.
  • Multitasking;
  • Attention to the details;
  • Keen problem solver;
  • Highly organized.
  • Fluent English speaker.
  •  Knowledge of PMS (Opera cloud) Cvent/Lanyon is preferable.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous and fast-changing environment.
