Blackbird Interactive is looking for a Senior Concept Artist to join our team to deliver a large, exciting IP! Collaborate with our tight-knit team of highly dedicated and talented artists, designers, and developers to create best in class games.

In this position, you’ll be working under the supervision of an Art Director, crafting the look of characters as well as tools, vehicles and environments in a sci-fi setting.

### Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Art Director and creative leadership to expand artistic vision of established IP

  • Create both 2D and 3D concepts as required to produce a variety of assets with a focus on characters but has the versatility to design tools, vehicles and environments

  • Create 2D assets to be used in-game as well as key art

  • Create storyboards that can be used to visualize narrative and cinematics

  • Curate in-depth knowledge of game universe with an eye for immersion

  • Develop ideas rapidly and provide workable variations based on technical constraints

  • ### Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven gameplay development experience

  • Excellent design sense, illustration skills and art fundamentals 

  • Ability to quickly generate and communicate wide range of visual ideas

  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, experience with Art Directors 

  • Detail oriented with strong practice of visual research

  • ### Pluses
