Our client is seeking a highly strategic and financially sophisticated executive to serve as SVP, Corporate Development & Strategic Initiatives. This role will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the Founder & CEO, leading enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, corporate development activities, mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, and executive-level business planning.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the organization's long-term growth strategy, evaluating investment opportunities, supporting executive leadership and board activities, and driving transformational business initiatives. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, financial acumen, executive presence, and hands-on execution.

Position Summary

The SVP, Corporate Development & Strategic Initiatives will work directly with the Founder & CEO to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic growth opportunities across the business. This individual will lead M&A activities, develop financial models and investment analyses, support board-level initiatives, and oversee key enterprise projects.

The role requires a highly analytical and operationally minded executive who can seamlessly navigate strategy, finance, business development, and executive leadership responsibilities while operating in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Corporate Development

  • Partner closely with the Founder & CEO to develop, communicate, execute, and sustain corporate strategic initiatives.
  • Support enterprise growth efforts, including investments, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry assessments to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize strategic initiatives and align organizational objectives.
  • Oversee execution of key strategic business initiatives across the organization.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO, executive leadership team, and board members.
  • Drive strategic planning processes and ensure alignment between business priorities and execution.

Financial Modeling & Analysis

  • Lead the development and maintenance of sophisticated financial models supporting investment, acquisition, and strategic business decisions.
  • Perform financial analysis, forecasting, valuation assessments, and scenario planning.
  • Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Support capital allocation decisions and resource planning initiatives.
  • Analyze business performance and identify opportunities for operational and financial improvement.

Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Lead the execution of investment opportunities and M&A transactions from origination through integration.
  • Manage target identification, evaluation, valuation, due diligence, negotiations, transaction structuring, documentation, approvals, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Partner with legal, finance, operations, and external advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Develop investment theses and business cases for acquisition opportunities.
  • Ensure successful integration planning and value realization following acquisitions.

Executive Leadership Support

  • Serve as a key liaison between the CEO, executive leadership team, investors, board members, clients, and strategic partners.
  • Support preparation for board meetings, investor discussions, executive reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Assist with executive communications, presentations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate and support executive travel, meetings, and global business activities as required.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop strategies, policies, and operating frameworks that support organizational growth.

Requirements

Education

  • MBA with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent financial designation highly preferred.

Experience

  • 14–18 years of progressive experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Strategy Consulting, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience leading mergers, acquisitions, investments, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Strong background in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership, boards of directors, and investor groups.
  • Experience working within global organizations and complex business environments.
  • Prior experience managing or supporting publicly traded companies is highly desirable.
  • Prior CFO, Corporate Development, or senior Finance leadership experience within a global BPO, CX, outsourcing, or business services organization strongly preferred.
