The Solution Design Engineer will play a crucial role in providing pre-sales technical support, designing tailored solutions, and ensuring seamless integration of customer feedback into product development.

Responsibilities of a Design Engineer:

  • Provide pre-sales technical support to the sales team, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and answering customer inquiries.
  • Work with customers to understand their requirements and design customized solutions that meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product improvements.
  • Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and sales materials to support the sales process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Perform other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classification other than their own.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field, preferred.
  • Experience in Ekahau software and Lucidcharts is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in network design utilizing Ruckus, Aruba, Cisco Meraki equipment
  • Excellent organizational skills while being very detail oriented with the ability to work independently to solve problems and anticipate needs and as a part of a collaborative team.
  • Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Visio, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • A growth mindset, with commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.
