Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we're looking to hire an Inbound - Outbound Logistics Administrator to join our Logistics Team in Xanthi, Greece. The role will be responsible for the daily route planning of all orders generated by the sales teams for a given delivery date. This role is to optimize efficiencies across all delivery systems while providing satisfactory customer service to external and internal customers, ensuring at the same time full compliance with local legislation and company policies. This is accomplished by designing effective sequential routing that will use the optimal number of delivery trucks for a given delivery date. This position has extremely time sensitive deadlines, requires high attention to detail and ability to focus intensely for extended periods of time.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role includes:
- Check shipment and product specifications (e.g. UN numbers) in order to ensure a shipment planning that complies to all local or international legislations and company policies
- Determine the correct routing related to the order quantities and requested delivery date by ensuring high capacity utilization of transportation means in order to minimize transportation cost
- Prepare shipment, shipment cost, invoices and other accompanying transportation documents through SAP
- Check the bill of landing vs SAP shipment cost and approve repayment to the logistics service provider
- Execution and follow up on Logistics claims
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/ Business Administration or relevant field
- 0-2 years working experience in the same role
- Fluency in English & in Greek (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of SAP will be an asset
- Ability to remain time sensitive deadlines and to pay high attention to details
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong multi-tasking, decision-making and problem-solving skills
