Your Mission

We are looking for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join our Corporate Affairs team on a fixed-term contract of 9 to 12 months. This is a hands-on contracts role for a lawyer who is as comfortable reviewing and negotiating agreements as they are identifying smarter ways to get that work done. You will own a broad portfolio of commercial and corporate agreements, build and refine contract workflows, and contribute to making the legal function faster and more scalable. You are pragmatic, process-oriented and genuinely enthusiastic about using technology and automation to improve how legal work gets done.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial and corporate agreements, including intercompany agreements, termination letters, client agreements, NDAs, vendor agreements, director agreements and other standard templates.
  • Own end-to-end contract lifecycle management, from intake through execution, ensuring speed, consistency and legal soundness.
  • Build, improve and maintain contract templates and playbooks to reduce turnaround time and increase self-service capability across the business.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in recurring contract workflows and design practical solutions, including automation where appropriate.
  • Leverage AI tools and contract management technology to streamline review processes and improve throughput without sacrificing quality.
  • Act as a collaborative partner to business teams, providing clear, actionable legal guidance on contractual matters.
  • Support corporate secretarial and entity management work, including maintenance of corporate records, preparation of resolutions and assistance with entity housekeeping across jurisdictions.
  • Manage the entity management software system (DiliTrust), ensuring accuracy and completeness of corporate records.
  • Contribute to broader legal operations initiatives, including process documentation, workflow design and tooling improvements.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury and People Operations to support business objectives and manage legal risk.

Qualifications:

  • Law degree (LL.B., J.D. or equivalent) with bar admission in a recognized jurisdiction.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in commercial or corporate law, in a law firm and/or multinational in-house legal team.
  • Strong contracts background with experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating a high volume of commercial agreements.
  • A process-improvement mindset: you do not just get the work done, you look for ways to do it better.
  • Hands-on experience with or genuine interest in using AI tools, contract automation and legal technology to drive efficiency.
  • Comfortable building from scratch: templates, playbooks, workflows and scalable legal processes.
  • Familiarity with corporate secretarial work and entity management is an asset.
  • Proficient with entity management and contract tools (e.g., DiliTrust) and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Working Language

English (written and spoken) is the primary working language, as colleagues, clients and strategic partners are geographically dispersed.
