The External Associate supports external relationship management by coordinating logistics, correspondence, and timelines with partners, sponsors, and speakers. This role ensures that communication is prompt, consistent, and aligned with the professionalism expected from an investment banking-focused conference. 

### Time Commitment
5-10 hours per week (more during summer/first term)  
### Term of Employment
June 2026 – March 2027 
### Main Responsibilities
  • Draft and send professional follow-up emails to speakers and firm representatives 

  • Maintain an organized email and contact database for all external partners 

  • Support the Director, External in preparing meeting agendas, call notes, and pitch decks 

  • Work cross-functionally with the Marketing team to align public messaging 

  • Ensure all partner deliverables (e.g., logos, bios, session details) are submitted on time 

  • Update the current pitch deck to reflect the results of 2025 year
  • Support any last-minute communications during the conference weekend 

### Qualifications
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through 

  • Professional email etiquette and comfort handling high-level stakeholders 

  • Experience using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools 

  • Organized, deadline-oriented, and proactive communicator 

  • Interest in finance or corporate relations is an asset 

  • Professional communication skills, along with the ability to speak credibly to strategy, tech, and boutique firms 

  • Excellent multitasker, able to prioritize and possesses project management skills 

  • Ability to prepare for and adapt to changing circumstances/unforeseen situations
