About Our Client:
Our client, a growing and innovative educational organization, is seeking a dedicated and student-focused Academic Advisor to support students throughout their academic journey. This role involves providing academic guidance, assisting students with course selection and educational planning, and ensuring a positive and successful learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide academic guidance and support to prospective and current students.
- Assist students with course selection, program information, and academic planning.
- Monitor student progress and provide recommendations to improve academic performance and engagement.
- Respond to student inquiries regarding academic programs, schedules, enrolment, and policies.
- Maintain accurate student records, advising notes, and academic documentation.
- Support student onboarding, orientation, and retention initiatives.
- Collaborate with instructors, admissions teams, and administrative staff to support student success.
- Identify students who may require additional academic or personal support and escalate appropriately.
- Conduct follow-ups with students regarding academic progress and participation.
- Assist with organizing workshops, academic events, and student support sessions.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent student service standards.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in academic advising, student services, admissions, counseling, or education support roles.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and virtual communication tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple student cases effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA or Canada.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within a college, academy, university, or online learning environment.
- Familiarity with student information systems, learning management systems, or CRM platforms.
- Experience supporting online or remote learners.
- Background in student engagement, retention, or academic coaching is an advantage.
Benefits
