Total Battle is already one of the most-played 4X strategy games out there. Our goal is to make it #1 in the world — and we need exceptional people to get there.
We're looking for a Recruiter who knows how to find talent that isn't looking, close candidates who have options, and build a hiring process that scales.
The role
You'll own full-cycle recruiting for the whole product team: developers, game designers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, product analysts, project managers, and a product manager. Each role has its own market, candidate profile, and assessment approach, and you'll run searches across all of them.
Expect to spend a lot of your time sourcing — most of these profiles aren't on the job market, and inbound applications won't fill the pipeline. Your ability to find and engage passive candidates is what will make or break the role.
This isn't a coordinator or sourcer-only role — you'll own recruiting end-to-end: developing the interview process, negotiating offers, training hiring managers, benchmarking compensation against the market, and reporting hiring data to stakeholders. If you want to own recruiting as a function — not just execute it — this is the role.
What we're looking for
3+ years as a full-cycle recruiter — in-house or executive search
Experience hiring competitive, hard-to-find profiles where passive sourcing is the only option — tech, gamedev, executive search, or similar markets
Strong sourcing skills: Boolean search, X-ray, LinkedIn, GitHub, StackOverflow, Habr — you find people who aren't applying, and you do it at volume
Comfortable with data: you track metrics, spot patterns, and present findings clearly
Upper-Intermediate English or higher
Genuine interest in games — you don't need to be a hardcore gamer, but you should care about the product you're hiring for

Our company was founded in 2015 in Cyprus with the initial goal of publishing and operating third-party games. In 2016 we decided that we wanted to work with our own games instead of ready-made products. We were excited by the idea of being a full-cycle game development studio: to launch a game, gain initial traction, and then scale up the game globally and become a leader in the genre. 2017 saw the arrival of our first game, Total Battle. We discovered the game in its very early stages, and we believed in its great potential, so we made it our goal to focus on this single title and become the leader in the 4X strategy genre. In 2021, we began to transform the company into a full-cycle game development studio, adding game developers, designers, and artists to our already existing publishing team, which consisted of our finance, legal, marketing, community, and support staff. We finished this process in 2022, and we now operate from our two offices in Limassol.
