Scorewarrior is a game developer and publisher based in Limassol, Cyprus.

We are working on Total Battle — a cross-platform MMO 4X strategy game with a deep social system and extensive player interaction. We have 2 million monthly active players and continue to grow with the goal of becoming the #1 game in the genre.

Our team consists of 200+ passionate, talented, self-driven, and continually developing professionals who love making high-quality games.

About the position

We are looking for a UI/UX designer who focuses not only on how the interface looks, but how it’s actually used. Someone who can take on large features end-to-end — from early UX concepts to final UI — staying true to the project’s overall style and working closely with the team throughout.

You will join a cross-functional team of 25+ professionals focused on developing gameplay and monetization for mid- and high-level players.

What you will be doing

  • Improving and creating UX/UI solutions for the game.

  • Designing interfaces based on documentation.

  • Developing user flows, navigation logic, and interaction patterns.

  • Creating wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, and UX concepts for new features.

  • Conducting basic UX research: analyzing player behavior, identifying pain points, and proposing improvements.

  • Validating ideas through prototypes and iterating based on feedback.

  • Drawing technical elements of the interface (icons, dice, buttons, windows).

  • Drawing art for interface windows, icons, collages, and small illustrations.

  • Thinking over and describing animations, and interface effects for further work of developers and animators.

  • Preparation of assets and transfer to developers.

  • Author's control of layout.

Required qualifications

  • 3+ years of working experience as a UI/UX Designer

  • Understanding the principles of usability of game interfaces.

  • Experience working on interfaces for mobile and browser/PC games.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Figma. Skill in drawing 2D graphics.

  • Having an appropriate portfolio especially with strong UX cases.

  • Desire to develop in UX/UI.

  • Love games.

  • Willing to complete a test task.

Preferred qualifications

  • A portfolio of mid-core style game interfaces.

  • Experience with 4X strategy games is a significant plus.

  • Interest in mobile games and current industry trends.

Our company was founded in 2015 in Cyprus with the initial goal of publishing and operating third-party games. In 2016 we decided that we wanted to work with our own games instead of ready-made products. We were excited by the idea of being a full-cycle game development studio: to launch a game, gain initial traction, and then scale up the game globally and become a leader in the genre. 2017 saw the arrival of our first game, Total Battle. We discovered the game in its very early stages, and we believed in its great potential, so we made it our goal to focus on this single title and become the leader in the 4X strategy genre. In 2021, we began to transform the company into a full-cycle game development studio, adding game developers, designers, and artists to our already existing publishing team, which consisted of our finance, legal, marketing, community, and support staff. We finished this process in 2022, and we now operate from our two offices in Limassol.
