Night Shift Quality Control Technician | Pipemakers

Pipemakers is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Shift Quality Control Technician to join our Deer Park manufacturing team.

About the Role

Working night shift, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and monitoring raw materials and finished plastic products to ensure compliance with company and industry standards. 

You’ll work closely with production teams to identify quality issues, support continuous improvement, and help maintain operational excellence across the site.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections of raw materials and finished products
  • Perform testing of plastic samples using quality control equipment and procedures
  • Accurately document inspection and testing results
  • Identify and report defects, non-conformances, or quality concerns
  • Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain quality records and support reporting requirements
  • Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and maintained appropriately
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality compliance standards

About You

  • Previous experience in quality control or manufacturing environments
  • Plastics industry experience highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of quality control processes and testing methods
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently on night shift with minimal supervision
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and adaptable
  • Technical qualifications in quality control or plastics technology advantageous
